Veterinarian's Loan Forgiveness Program

The 2009 Minnesota legislature creates a new Veterinarian's Loan Forgiveness Program to encourage veterinarians to work in rural Minnesota. Although the program was created under the statutes that govern the Office of Higher Education, the program has been subcontracted to the Department of Health because they administer similar programs for rural medical professionals. The program is funded with $225,000 for 5 years. View the program guidelines.
