Initiative for middle school students

The Office of Higher Education coordinates a public information initiative supported jointly by the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities, the University of Minnesota, the Minnesota Private College Council, the Minnesota Career Colleges Association and the Minnesota Department of Education. The initiative educates Minnesota's middle school students on the choices they need to make now that can lead to college success. Launched in 2006, the initiative features advertising and public service announcements, school presentations and performances and a Web site featuring an online school counselor to answer students' academic and college-related questions.
