Awarded to top graduating high school seniors. Must be enrolled full time at the Cambridge campus and maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0. Based on academic scores, community involvement and essay.

Awarded to minority and/or female students who pursue careers in business, science, electrical engineering or environmental science studies. Freshmen must be in upper 20% of high school class with a minimum GPA of 3.0 and college prep courses. Must be full time and a U.S. citizen.

Awarded to incoming freshmen who are top students from area high schools. Students must be willing to assume leadership responsibilities at the college. Must be from service area, attending full-time, have a minimum GPA of 3.5 and demonstrate leadership potential through involvement in school or community activities.

Dora Keillor Scholarship
Established by Garrison Keillor in memory of his grandmother Dora, a teacher in Ramsey Township at the turn of the century. Must enroll on the Coon Rapids campus with eight or more credits, have a minimum GPA of 2.0, intend on a teaching degree and must write an additional essay (300 words) on "The Teacher I Best Remember".

Awarded to a student who understands and values the importance of customer service. Must have a minimum GPA of 3.25, be a declared business major intending to seek a four-year degree, and answer two questions: (1) "Why do you think customer service is important and how have you demonstrated excellent customer service in any of your past experiences?" and (2) "In regard to your future degree, how would you continue to provide excellent customer service as well as emphasize this philosophy with your co-workers and/or employees?"

Presidential Star
Awarded to a high school graduate who has a minimum cumulative high school GPA of 3.75, holds a leadership position in at least one school activity (i.e., president, secretary, captain, etc.), is involved in at least two other school or community organizations that demonstrate breadth, has been a resident of the Coon Rapids campus service area for at least two years and enrolled full time. Must submit recommendation letter from high school faculty or counselor, addressing the applicant's character and skills.
